It is never too early to start thinking about hearts, flowers, X's and O's, and all that goes with Valentine's Day. It will be here before we know it (exactly 8 weeks!). That is just enough time to get a couple of projects ready because hearts are good all year long. Personally, I am a "heart junkie" and have all sorts of heart-themed objects around the house but I don't have a Valentine Quilt. Guess I have plenty of inspiration here to get going. Christina is also a "heart junkie" and has made several Emily Dennis Quilty Love heart patterns throughout the years.
Take a look at some of these fabulous quilt patterns. There are blocks, placemats, table runners, and various-sized quilts. Please visit the designer's links and stores to show your support. Be sure to follow them on social media because they offer more than hearts (We checked! LOL).

Heart Gems is a stash-friendly heart quilt. Â Quarter square triangles create dimension and movement in this fun and modern quilt. Â Use fat quarters or your scrap stash to sew up this heart quilt. PDF Pattern includes a bonus simple heart option. Â Skip the quarter-square triangles and sew together a quick and easy version.
"These quilt duets show a synergy of love and nature that is undeniable. A bloom nestled in a heart's embrace. A heart blossoming in a bloom's center. Celebrate the dance of hearts and flowers with these patterns."

Laura from Slice of Pi Quilts released this pattern a couple of years ago, but it's a favorite with many, many quilters. Will it become yours?

How fun is the Hearts Intertwined table runner and mat! What a great way to dress up your table or counter for a special dinner.
Sandy Gervias of Pieces of My Heart writes a great pattern with half-square triangles and strip piecing.
Kirsty of Bonjour Quilts says, "This pattern looks great as written -- with all the hearts matching -- but can also be made with scrappy hearts. You can clear out your scrap pile for this one and create a sea of different colored hearts. Or use a stack of fat quarters from your stash to sew up a scrappy, yet color-themed quilt."

The Happy Hearts Quilt from Mandi Persell of Sewcial Stitch is another pattern you can make in one colorway or a colorful version. It comes in 3 sizes and Mandi even has kits available. I see this in a fun ombre colorway.
